2 Corinthians 12:
Paul boasts of visions and
revelations from God even thought there is no gain in it. He would boast
of his weakness and about a man in Christ who was taken to the third heaven 14
years ago. In the body or out of the body, this man heard unique things
that he is not permitted to share. Only the ignorant says that there is
no God, spirit, heaven, or resurrection of the dead. Paul talks
about God allowing a thorn in his flesh, which was a messenger of Satan sent to
torment him, but God said that God's grace is sufficient in all situations and
God's power is made perfect in our weakness. So let us boast of our
weakness, insults, sufferings, difficulties, and persecutions because survival
of our weakness in God is making us stronger in God.
2 Corinthians 13:
You need two to three
witnesses (not lairs and false witnesses) in all matters. Christ was
crucified in his weakness, but made strong and lives in God's power. We
are weak in Christ, but strong in God's power to live with Christ.
Always test yourself in your faith in Christ because you cannot do anything
against the truth, but only for the very truth.
