Jeremiah 45:

God told Baruch, who wrote down what Jeremiah said on scrolls, that he should not want anything from the land because God was going to destroy them.  God promised him that wherever Baruch went his life would be spared.  Do a thing for God today that will make you receive a promise from God.  God rewards all that honor him and no matter the state of the economy, politics, or social order, you will always rise above it.

Jeremiah 46:

God announces the defeat of Pharaoh Neco of Egypt by King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon.  God was also going to punish Amon, god of Thebes, Pharaoh, Egypt, and all her gods, as well as all that rely on EgyptThe only world power is God.  Rely on God and not world powers, military might, or strong currencies because they will all pass away with the wind.

Jeremiah 47:

God was going to destroy the Philistines, who are also descendants of Egypt (Genesis 10:13), and all her survivors that may be of assistance to Tyre and Sidon (a wealthy place by the port filled with cedar and timber).  Fear and respect God because a mighty military (of the Philistines) and great wealth (of Tyre and Sidon) is nothing but a mirage before God and in our future happiness and prosperity
