1 Corinthians 16:

Paul encourages the churches to raise money for the Jerusalem church (as headquarters) based on their income and not tithe.  Always look for opportunity to progress and do God's work regardless of circumstances or setbacks.  Take care of each other in love and stand firm in the faith of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 1:

God is our comforter in all troubles so that we can comfort others.  Life will have many sufferings and despair, but it is meant for us to depend and come closer to God.  We can boost of conducting ourselves in the world as good examples of holiness and sincerity in God's grace. God will always fulfill his promises no matter what in Jesus Christ and our "Amen" is to glorify God.  It is God that makes us stand firm in Christ and has anointed us with God's Spirit as a deposit and guarantee of the reward from the promise of faith.

2 Corinthians 2:

If anyone offends you, forgive and comfort him so that he will not be filled with sorrow.  Show love so that Satan does not outsmart us with his tricks to cause disunity.  We should act and speak as humans sent from God.
