Are the Jews the only chosen people of God?

No. God chose the Hebrews (Judah and Israel) initially as his people because of God’s promise to Abraham and they were merely the fewest people on the earth at the time to simply bring Jesus into the world. There was absolutely nothing special biologically, culturally, socially, psychologically, spiritually, or politically. It was the personality of the Biblical God to use the least, youngest, or lowest to show off his might against the mighty and superior peoples of the world in order to let humanity know that God did exist. (Deut 7)

Why did God send Jesus into the world?

God needed to send Jesus into the world at a time that God had completely remained silent and saw the wickedness of humanity in order to show humanity God’s expectations on how the live, respect our body and each other, as well as honor health and the environment. To achieve this, God had to choose a man through whom the law and the teachers of the law (the prophets) will be established for humanity to follow. (Gen 11)

Why did God choose Abraham?

God choose a pure Arab man (Abram or Abraham), who was an old pagan and idol worshipper, and was married, but could not have children anymore to birth to the Hebrew nation. God became known as the God of Abraham, Isaac (his son) and Jacob (his grandson). It was Jacob (later called Israel) that gave birth to the Hebrew nation while living in Africa (Egypt) for 430 years. In fact, some of the Hebrew wives were African Egyptians and Ethiopians. (Gen 12)

Why did God create the Hebrew nation?

The Hebrews job was to possess Moses’ laws and most of the prophets for humanity until the birth and resurrection of Jesus. God even told Jacob (Israel) that God was going to give Israel the land he was laying on and will be with him until the coming of his seed or offspring (Jesus). The contract between God and Jacob (Israel) ended after the resurrection of Jesus and the coming down of the Holy Spirit because as many prophets have predicted, the Children of God will no longer be biological or based on the law, but rather, those that God have chosen to have the Holy Spirit through Jesus.
