YouTube has become a great parenting tool because it is very useful in bringing parents and young children together earlier in the children’s lives. At a very young age, parents can use YouTube videos to introduce their children to their favorite songs that were release over 20-30 years ago while they dance and sing to the songs together. It is also a way for parents to teach children what was culturally acceptable in their time and to instruct children about acceptable behaviors today. It is always a pleasure for young children to call their parents just to request a YouTube video from over 20 years ago by either humming the tune or singing it just so that they can dance to it together.
