 1 Corinthians 13:

Any spiritual gift (wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, powers, prophecy, distinguishing spirits, speaking in tongues, and interpreting tongues) without love is meaningless.  Love is always meek and respectful.  Love perseveres, trusts, hopes, and rejoices in truth rather than evil.  Love never fails and it last forever.  Knowledge, prophesies, and tongues may pass away, but never love.  The three great gifts that never cease are faith, hope, and love, but love is the greatest spiritual gift of all.

1 Corinthians 14:

Follow love and desire spiritual gifts, especially prophesy.  The one who speak in tongues speak only to God in mysteries from his spirit, but he that prophesies strengthens, encourages, and comforts the humans that hears him.  Tongues edifies the individual except it is interpreted, while prophesy edifies the church.  So desire the gifts that edifies the church.  Isaiah prophesized that God will even speak to the Jews in strange tongues and through Gentiles, but the Jews will still reject God.  Tongues are for unbeliever, but prophecy is for believers. There must be an interpreter for every tongue spoken or he than speak in tongues should be quiet.  Prophesize in turns and not in competition, so that the church is edified.  When a second prophet gets a revelation, the first should respectfully stop.  God is ordered and peaceful. Women should not speak in church because it is disgraceful.

1 Corinthians 15:

Believing the gospel of Jesus is what saves if you hold on to it.  The gospel is that Jesus died for our sins according to the old scriptures, was buried, was raised on the third day, and appeared to the apostle and over 500 others, some of who are still alive. Jesus also appeared to James (his brother) and Paul.  Paul claims to be the least of the apostles because he once  persecuted the church, but God saved him by grace.  Our faith is on the resurrection of the dead of Jesus.  If Christ did not resurrect, then we are false prophets still living in sin.  Death came through Adam, but resurrection comes through Christ.  The last enemy is death and Christ has now put everything under his feet.  Baptism is the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, so baptism is in vain if there is no resurrection of Jesus.  Our body changes into an imperishable spiritual body after we resurrect from death just as a seed died before it becomes a tree.  Flesh and blood can not inherit the kingdom of God, only the spiritual body.

The book is meant for people who are hopeful but seem not to have yet found their purpose on earth. This book will help enable people and communities to progress with a peace of mind towards their destiny.

Need daily devotion materials for you and your family early in the morning or late at night? I used this daily at night to instruct my children about want I expect from them now and into the future. We pray about the devotional message to a higher power, which makes them feel that the expectation is an achievable goal. It is very good at helping you and your family stay focused in improving your quality of life and making better decisions. Always use this daily!
