Galatians 5:
Believing in Christ sets us free from earthly worries. Circumcision based on the law is of no value to Christ in us. Those who want to follow earthly laws to be saved are not of Christ. Worldly laws are for earthly satisfaction (greed, power, and oppression) and not being saved in God, which is merely faith in Christ expressed through LOVE. The entire law can be summarized by faith as “love your neighbor as yourself” and not fighting as well as destroying each other based on the law (going to court). Those who still preach the law of Moses or Judaism to be saved will get their punishment for causing confusion. The sinful nature contradicts the Spirit and the law regulates the sinful nature, which the Spirit is above (law and sinful nature). Those who live according to the sinful nature will not see heaven. The acts of the sinful nature include sexual immorality, drunkenness, orgies, idolatry (worship of money), selfish ambition, anger, jealousy, and envy. Those in the Spirit have love, joy, kindness, patience, gentleness, and self-control.
Galatians 6:
Correct he who sin gently, but be careful not to get tempted by that sin. Test your faith in God regularly to take pride in your life in Christ. Compare yourself with no other and be responsible for your walk with Christ. God can never be mocked and we will reap whatever we sow. Those who sow to please the sinful nature (self-ambition and greed) will reap destruction, while those who sow to please the Spirit (do good for the community) will reap eternal life. Always do good to everyone. Those who talk about the law cannot even follow the law. They ONLY talk about the law is to avoid the cross of Christ (separation of Church from State). They want to be able to do what they like without any accountability to God or their conscience.
Ephesians 1:
Praise God, the father of Jesus Christ, who made Jesus to be holy before the beginning of time and through him we are adopted as children of God by faith in Jesus Christ. We are redeemed by his blood, our sins are forgiven, and through God’s grace are rewarded with wisdom as well as understanding. God’s will is to bring all things including Christ under one head with time. Christians who believe by faith in God’s Spirit are marked with a seal in the Holy Spirit as inheritors of God’s promise of eternal life.
