Ecclesiastes 5:
Watch out when you go before God. Go to Gods house to listen rather than give offerings of fools. Learn to talk to God in few words. It is better not to make vows to God or another, but if you do, do not delay to fulfill it. Do not be surprised to see the poor oppressed and their rights and justice denied because one official is eyed by a higher one (if the lower officer does right, he may be fired by a higher official for not following the law that exploits the poor for their benefit). He that loves wealth and money never sees satisfaction of them and they are just a mere delight to the eyes. The sleep of a laborer (poor) is sweet regardless of the amount he eats, but the abundance of the rich permits him no sleep. Man works for the wind because I have seen great wealth lost before the son could inherit it and those that had it could not take it to their grave. Gods gift and mans lot on earth is to enjoy the fruit of your labor while you are alive.
Ecclesiastes 6:
I have seen God bless a man with wealth, honor, and possessions but would rather a stranger enjoy it than the man. A stillborn is better than a man with many children and lives many years, but does not get a proper burial or enjoy prosperity.
Ecclesiastes 7:
Good name is better than riches and the day of death is better than the day of birth just as the house of mourning is better than the house of joy because death is the destiny of every man. The wise appreciates the house of mourning while the fool appreciates the house of pleasure. Patience is better than pride and anger is for fools. Never wonder about the good old days because God makes both the good and not so good days. Only the godly avoid the extremes of being too righteous, too wise, too wicked, and too foolish. The wise is greater than 10 rulers and there is no righteous or godly person without sin. In a thousand, I found an upright man, but could not find an upright woman among them. God made human to be upright, but they went after their own plans.
