It is with great pleasure that I would like to inform all of humanity, especially humans of African descent, that Senator Barack Obama is not only the next President of the United States of America, but also the chosen one that would bring the progressive unity that will transcend race, gender, sexual difference, and religion. It is because of this reality that it is mandatory that each one of us, especially those of us in the Washington DC area, attend a memorial in his honor as the next and first African (Black) President of the United States of America.

The African Slavery and Holocaust Memorial, which took place on the Capitol grounds in Atlanta and in the United Nations Plaza on October 19, 2008, will be taking place in Washington DC by the Capitol Reflecting Pool on Sunday, November 9, 2008 at exactly 6:00 PM. The Paul Bogle Foundation and Edofolks.com will be lighting 1000 candles in glass not only to commemorate the 100-300 million Africans that died as a result of African slavery, African slave trade, and African colonization, but also to celebrate the journey of Africans from the slave ships to the White House.

The purpose of the 1000 candles is not only to cleanse and purify the United States Capitol grounds for Senator Barack Obama’s presidency, but also to unify God, our ancestors, the living, and our children yet unborn towards a non-Republican destination of economic progress, political relevance, social equality, happiness, good health, and a peace of mind. Senator Obama has done it physically, but humanity, especially peoples of African descent, has to commemorate his presidential victory in the spirit.

In a land where Africans were nothing but free slave laborers that were used only to generate maximum profits for their owners, an African by birth, blood, and lineage in America rose to become their President. The African slaves did not only build both the White House and the United States’ Congressional Building, but they never received a penny for it to this day. Is this not a case where the stone that was once rejected is now chosen to become the cornerstone? We must all come together this Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 6:00 PM to give thanks to God, commemorate our ancestors, and to celebrate the greatness and leadership of our children. We, along with our children, will always be leaders and lenders wherever we place our feet.

Please visit https://edofolks.com for more detail and help to pass the online flyer around to increase the attendance for our celebration. No sales nor food, but drummers, singers, and traditional dancers are needed and are all welcome to the venue of the event at Pennsylvania Avenue and 3rd Street in Washington DC by the Capitol Reflecting Pool.

The book is meant for people who are hopeful but seem not to have yet found their purpose on earth. This book will help enable people and communities to progress with a peace of mind towards their destiny.

Need daily devotion materials for you and your family early in the morning or late at night? I used this daily at night to instruct my children about want I expect from them now and into the future. We pray about the devotional message to a higher power, which makes them feel that the expectation is an achievable goal. It is very good at helping you and your family stay focused in improving your quality of life and making better decisions. Always use this daily!
